Come On In Mr. March!

It's March!! Spring is coming and what a fabulous few days it has been here in St. George! The weather has been way too perfect! I can leave my window open, let in all the perfect fresh air. I even got to go outside and wash my truck it has been so lovely! I have been able to ride my longboard to class it has been so nice! I know right? When its nice outside, it shows! I get so much happier when the sun is shinning!! If anyone ever asks me, "Sara, do you prefer cold weather or warm weather?" Without hesitating I say "Warm weather for her sure!" haha!! Next week is spring break and I seriously cannot wait to have that California sun shine on me! Disneyland and La Jolla Beach! "The sunshine is going to wash my blues away" (Knee Deep; Zak Brown Band) I can't wait to get away for a little while. It's going to be the best! Plus I can't wait to see Koltyn, Jace, Cade Trey-Trey, and Emri go to Disneyland and see the wonder on their faces! No lie, Disneyland is magical. For those of you who disagree, you need some pixie dust in your life! Haha:) I love Disneyland, it's great!! It's going to be such a wonderful adventure:)

Ok, I have a major confession, I have a new show I am addicted to! It's called Once Upon A Time and it's about how all these fairy tale/princess characters are cured and are stuck in our world.
P.S. The princes are way handsome!
Side note: Why, in movies and such, are people "banished" or "cursed" into our world? Is our world really that bad? Heck, we have got so many cool things that other worlds don't have! Like The Beach Boys! Not every world is as lucky as us to have their summers perfectly arranged into awesome songs that are very well suited to a fabulous summer lifestyle, I mean come on! You can't have a California trip without even thinking about The Beach Boys! Or One Direction....ok that is so off topic. And yes! I love One Direction, haters back off. Side note complete. I don't think other worlds have Hot Pockets either.
Anyway! I know it sounds dumb, but it is so good!! If you are a die hard Disney fan, or just a person in general, you are going to love this show just like I do:) So if you are too bored, just remember that Netflix has the first season. You're welcome.

Here are some updates about my cute best friend/cousin Sister Maughan on her mission!!
Rach and her companion Sister Pulu

On her way to Missouri
I wrote her a letter:) Can't wait for her to get it!
She is is Joplin, Missouri now!! (or the way she explains it "Missoura") Her companion Sister Pulu seems like a blast! They seem to get along really well, but who couldn't get along with Rachel? Unfortunate for you if you don't get along with Rachel. But she is doing absolutely fabulous!! I am so proud of her!! And I love and miss her loads and loads! Now don't forget about that horchata Sister Maughan! haha:)

Splash Mountain Disneyland

Lisa, you are a pretty amazing little weirdo. I am so grateful for her! She is so much fun and she is my other best friend/cousin! "You have more than one?" Why yes life observer, I do!! She is my Poppin' Glitter Trousers, the Dell to my Zinf, and weirdest and one of the craziest people I have ever known, but I sure am happy I know her:) I can't wait to see her this weekend! I love you Lisa Beth!

haha!
Lisa is pretty cool.

It's Good To Be Busy!

Is it only Wednesday? No, It's already Wednesday! It's a pretty strange thing, lately the days feel long, but the weeks are fast! It still seems like the semester just started and I have my first midterm tomorrow! How time can fly!! I have been a busy little bee lately, I am dancing all the time know with Kalamity and I absolutely love it! It makes me so happy to be dancing! I can feel myself improving and I have all the girls on Kalamity to thank for! They really want me to succeed in dance and I am so blessed to have all of them in my life! I also have school, student government, ever preparing for my mission and my church calling! Plus I have to fit a social life in there, I am a college kid, I have to have one:) haha!

Sam, Amber, and I at the Step Show
On Friday I had my FIRST performance with Kalamity at the SUU annual Step Show, I was so so nervous! But I, thankfully, got through the performance better than I hoped! It was a blast! I love performing, I just need to practice it a little more! Today is the perfect opportunity. I am performing again tonight at 7:30 at the Eccles Building at Dixie State University. I am getting really stoked! I can take what I learned the last performance and leave my all on the stage this time! Now that I have my "newbie" jitters out, I can perform my best! I LOVE DANCING!

Isn't she the cutest sister missionary?
Sister Rachel Maughan leaves the MTC today and heads out to Oklahoma! I am so stoked for her! Her mom, my fabulous Aunt Judy, gets emails and forwards them to a bunch of us family members along with pictures. It looks and sounds like she is doing absolutely wonderful! Which I didn't doubt for a minute, but she looks so happy! Her being gone makes me even more excited to go and serve! May 22nd couldn't come any sooner! It's going to be quit the adventure!I miss you bestie!!

Look Out Oklahoma

Sister Rachel Maughan left for the MTC today. She is my best friend. She is basically my sister! We have been like two little peas in a pod since we were born, literally! We have been through so much together. Every dance lesson, class, t-ball, you name it, we did it, together. Growing up we were attached at the hip, and it still is that way:) I have always had the luxury of having her right next to me all the time. She has helped me through so many things. She always knows how to make me laugh when I am upset, she knows that an orange soda and a good ol' Disney movie will make any crappy day better, she knows me better than I know myself sometimes. Her friendship is the world to me and I love her so much! My favorite memories have included her, she is the best! Her bright smile and beautiful personality can light up a room in seconds! The people in Oklahoma are the luckiest people alive! They get the opportunity to meet my twinner and get to know and love her like I have. Good luck in Oklahoma buddy:) I will see you in two short years!! I know this will be one of your favorite adventures! We will swap stories about all the adventures we have soon!

Happy Adventures,
Sara Bean

P.S. Rachel, I know you are already at the MTC and you won't be able to read this, but maybe our telepathic-ness may actually work this time for this last phrase.

P.S. I know you are sitting on the edge of your seat to find out how many times my professor said O.K. today. It was a huge spike of 60 times in a forty minute period! (the class is 50 minutes, but I didn't start keeping track until 10 minutes into class. I promise I was not late to class)

Just Everyday Things

Happy Monday!
Professor Bane's Class
Biology 1010
Today I was just doing my normal thing, getting ready for all my classes for the day, going to biology (way too boring for words). Biology, that is the class I do believe I am going to have the hardest time with this semester. BUT! Luckily I have a great friend in that class who helped me make it more entertaining. Our professor probably has the most boring, monotone voice I have ever heard in my short 19 years. HOLY CRAP! But, we found something about her vocabulary, she says "ok" about every other word. We decided to keep track:) Nice way to make something so boring, a good time!

Happy Birthday Katie!!
Today is my dear cousin Katie's birthday! She just turned 19!! Yay! Happy Birthday Katie Bay! I love you so so much!! For all of you fortunate enough to know Katie, you already know how amazing she is! Her fun spirit can light up any room and her laugh will make you roll on the floor laughing! She's fun and I hope she has an excellent birthday!

I absolutely love my institute classes!
-Missionary Prep with Brother Butler
-Atonement with Brother King
Both amazing classes and amazing teachers! Today's lesson was so touching in my atonement class. You know when you go to a class and you feel that everything everyone is saying was meant especially for you? It was one of those days:)

Rachel and Me:)
So my cousin/best friend Rachel doesn't live in St. George with me anymore:( and I miss her little bum like CRAZY!! But today she sent me this adorable picture of us when we were just little girls! Made my whole day! I love that crazy girl so much! I am going to miss her loads when she leaves on her mission, but I know that she is going to do amazing things!

The little things that happen to us in our lives daily are what make them so happy and special. Everyday is a new adventure, but only if you let it!

Happy Adventures,

Sara Wulfenstein

Called To Serve

Dear Sister Wulfenstein,
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the AUSTRALIA BRISBANE MISSION. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months. You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center May 22, 2013.

The green part is my mission:)

The beautiful city of Brisbane.

The biggest adventure that I will be embarking on next is a mission in Australia!!
(click on link here to watch my video!)

Golden Coast, Australia
Australia
In the last General Conference the age for missionaries was change to 18 for young men and 19 for young women, I honestly never even though about serving a mission, 21 seemed like such a long time away for me, I am only 19! So I never thought about it. I got the incredible chance to actually to go to conference in Salt Lake. I told my mom about it. I had called her a few days before I left and was just so confused. I wanted to know what I was going to do with myself. I don't have a major, I don't have any huge committments with school, I didn't have a plan! So she told me to go to conference with a question and it will be answered. So I decided to pray for some guidence and comfort to make a plan for myself. Then on Saturday morning, my sister Jill ran downstairs where a bunch of us girls were getting ready and told us to come up quick and hear what the prophet was saying. We all ran upstairs and heard President Thomas S. Monson make the historical announcement! As soon as it was said, I felt the spirit in a way I have never felt it before. I felt like this was something I could do, maybe this was my answer! I went to conference on Sunday afternoon, and if you have never been to general conference, you need to go! It's an amazing experience! When I got home from such an exciting weekend, I really pondered about the decision to go on a mission or not. I finally came to the conclusion that this was my answer and I needed and wanted to do this! The more and more I prepare for it, I am so much more grateful for the prophet and the announcement he made. I have started looking at the scriptures differently and others differently. I am so blessed to have such amazing institute teachers, leaders, bishoprics, family, and friends that are supporting me in my decision! I am so excited to share Christ's good news to the people in Australia! I am so blessed to know that my Savior lives and loves me and I have been chosen to serve Him.
